Shannen Fields-Braswell is an award-winning actress, producer, writer and inspirational speaker. Her dreams were launched with the Kendrick Brother’s feature film, Facing the Giants, where she was cast in the lead female role of Brooke Taylor. The movie was released in 441 theaters across the US. Since then, Shannen has left an unforgettable mark on the industry. She is also known for her compelling performances in The Order of Rights, Song of the Tree Frogs, Redeemed, Fragment, Carol and the mini television reality show, Rebuild and Restore, just to name a few. Shannen is passionate about creating dynamic and inspirational content in the arena of faith-based cinema. Her love for people and trust in God shine through every aspect of her life.

Beyond her love for acting and producing, Shannen also has a passion to share her message and spread God’s word in an authentic way. In the past few years, God has taken Shannen’s life in a very different direction. She has lived what it means to discover beauty from the ashes.  Shannen is married to Anthony Braswell (speaker, writer, pastor and leadership coach). Shannen and Anthony both lost their late spouses to terminal illnesses, but refused to allow those experiences to define them.

Together, Anthony and Shannen have been married a combined 55 years and have used that experience to create Uncover Marriage. They frequently speak at churches and marriage, family and leadership conferences. They love to share their story, equip couples to experience the marriage of their dreams. Shannen is also the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Healing Forward Ministries, a non-profit organization to support widows and financially assist them at Christmas. They also partner with Ministry to the Military to support families deployed around the world.

​​In the recent past, she has served as Mistress of Ceremony and guest speaker at a very significant and high-profile event in Rome, Italy. Shannen has also been a featured keynote speaker for various women and youth conferences, churches, fundraisers, and other miscellaneous events and venues. In the Fall of 2019, Shannen was honored to be selected with other noted artists as a guest of the “Israel Collective Group” with Sammy Lopez (Outreach Director & Pastor) and Raj Nair (Media Director) on their goodwill tour of Israel and the Holy Land.

Shannen is grateful for her professional journey but her true love and passion remains with her family.​
