ComingSoon is excited to debut an exclusive Carol trailer for the upcoming Christmas musical, which hails from Family Movie Events. It is based on Charles Dickens‘ classic 1843 novella A Christmas Carol.
“Self-centered Solomon Lynch, the local Scrooge of the small, struggling town of Springdale, Indiana, takes a musical journey through his past, present, and future on Christmas Eve,” reads the official synopsis. “But it will take more than Christmas spirit to set things right. A feature-length film offering diverse musical styles, Carol is a family-friendly story of hope, faith, and redemption.”
When is the Carol release date?
Carol is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters nationwide on December 6th, 2024. It stars Aaron Fullan as Solomon, Robert Amaya as Christmas Present, Meggie Jenny as Christmas Past, Franni Rae Cash Cain as Penelope Crandall, Colleen Amaya as Carol Lynch, Shannen Fields as Mrs. Lynch, Paul Kandarian as Ebenezer Scrooge, Sharonne Lanier as Christmas Future, Elias Kemuel as Tiny Tim, Jonathan Wilson as Pastor Clark, Sharon Nelson as Mary Sue, Jonni Shandor as Tina, Dale Dobson as Bob Crantin, and more.
The film is directed by George A. Johnson from a screenplay he co-wrote with James Tew. It is produced by Johnson, Kary Johnson, Susan Grifenhagen, Ed Grifenhagen, and Orlando Kemuel, with James and Shannon Tew as executive producers. Additional cast includes Austin Cain, Owen Johnson, Emily Wilhelm, Matt Moore, Craig Munk, Corey Lee Peña, Sophia Amaya, Madeline Columbus, Angelina Amaya, Stephanie Parker, Collin Kintz, Michael Wilhelm, and Camren Kintz.
